Reorganisation and establishment of a safety management system for the RAAF including the management of around 30 full time safety officers and 450 part time safety advisors (1997-2003)

As the Director for Safety Management Air Force, Brett Wood (now employed by CSI as a Director and principal consultant) developed an AS/NZS 4804 compliant safety management system for the Royal Australian Air Force including systems, policies and procedures with a focus on aviation safety. This experience has been transitioned to Consulting Safety International and used to develop a range of safety management systems in industry and government.
