Following on from the disaster risk management projects and contracts, Shoalhaven Council sought advice on how to create activation plans for water emergencies within the local government area and for water supply which was under their immediate control. A first draft was issued for direction which immediately resolved the activation plan issue and met the contract requirements for the task. A learning experience which can be applied in other areas of emergency management if required.
