This Defence Group deals with computer equipment, hardware and software for Defence. During the use of certain computer hardware a person was injured on a sharp edge and required medical treatment. CSI reviewed the procurement process from a safety risk management perspective and provided recommendations for adjustments to the process to consider supply, installation, use and maintenance of the equipment from a safety risk management perspective. Suppliers, installers and users were considered in the risk assessment processes.
