CSI conducted safety management systems audits for both clients using an understanding the Australian Standards on Safety Management Systems (AS/NZS 4804) and the auditing requirements for these systems (AS/NZS 4801), auditing paperwork and documentation required to undertake a safety management systems audits, interview techniques and methods for reviewing or grading results. CSI has also developed a mapping pictogram that allows management to see where it needs to focus its attentions for continual improvement. This mapping has proved very popular by management who can read results using a stop-light system that prioritises their actions.
